Eventful weekend

Around 10pm on Friday night Cory told me that we were building a closet in the girls room the next morning. It's one of the many things that needs done on the house. Right now they are sharing our closet because they of course, don't have one. I was pretty excited but a little stressed too. I wasn't planning on putting one in until at least spring. Needless to say Saturday a closet was built. The girls are so excited! I am too! Away with the clutter! It still needs to be mudded, textured, primed and painted. Once that is done we will build shelves for it. It is sorta frustrating for me because normally I would have it all done but with being pregnant there is only so much that I can do! I just have to wait for Cory prime and texture and paint! Aaaaghhh. At least the girls will have a closet. I'll post pictures as soon as is finished.

We had also planned on building a storage room in the basement this year. However, yesterday as we were preheating the oven it decided to blow up! Literally! You know when you put something metal in the microwave it sends electric sparks all over and there is that shocking sort of noise? Well that is how is started only it was the coil in the bottom of the oven. It expanded and actually caught on fire! I quickly pulled it away from the wall and unplugged it. It's good to know that the fire alarm works though! So, now we are on the search for a new stove. Hopefully, we will still have enough money left over to at least frame the storage room. It has definately been an interesting weekend!
