Time has sure flown by! I'll just start with Mother's day. My wonderful family spoiled me rotten. Cory brought home a beautiful bouquet of daisies, carnations, and a couple of others that I don't know what they are. They are still in a vase on my kitchen table and still just as beautiful! The Saturday before Mother's Day we spent building and relocating the girls a new sandbox. I also received a new pair of gardening gloves. It may sound silly but these things really do make me happy. Sunday I woke up to french toast that my cute little family had made me for breakfast. Thanks everyone!Monday we planted our garden. Last Saturday we layed a flagstone path and somewhere in all of this Cory and Heather built steps for the back door in the pouring
rain!! Thank Heather and
Cory they look great. The patio and steps are only temporary because eventually we are going to build a deck instead. I am content with the results for now though. This week Charity graduates from Preschool. I am so proud of her!! I can't believe she will be starting kindergarten soon. Sigh. She is so smart. I know that she will do really well. I, however, just want to keep her under my thumb and never experience the teasing and hurt that can sometimes come from going to school with other kids. I know that it is for the best though. She is tough though so I know she'll be okay. Kaylie will be starting Preschool as well. She is so excited to go she can hardly stand it!!
We are taking a family "vacation" this week as well. We are going on our first camping trip with just our little family. We've been camping several times before but usually with other family members. We are so excited. Here's hoping it goes as smooth as we plan! Knock on wood!
