How time flies!

We have done quite a few things since my last entry, so I will try to catch up on what we have been doing. I took my girls to farm days a few weeks ago. They loved it! Kaylie held a rabbit but was afraid to hold anything after that because the rabbit "scratched" her. Charity loved holding the baby chicks and ducks. I had to stop her a few times from picking them up herself. By the time we got back home they both crashed on the couch for a couple of hours.

Charity graduated from preschool. She smiled the entire program! She was so excited and was ready to start kindergarten right then. She did such a good job singing her song. We are so proud of her for all of her hard work. Good job Charity! Afterwards we took her to Old Tymer for lunch. She had been begging to eat there for the past few months. Every time we would pass it she would ask, "Can we eat there some day?" She loved every minute of it. I only wish I would have remembered to take our camera in with us.
Later that evening we loaded up the car and headed to the mountain to do a little family camping. I worried that we wouldn't be able to at first because it had been raining. We decided to brave it though. Actually, the mountain was really quite beautiful. The weather was perfect and we found the perfect spot with a meadow where we could play a little ball. It was so nice to spend time away with just our little family. We took a couple of nature hikes, played baseball, rested, and of course roasted marshmallows. Everyday we had deer come into the meadow to graze. Our last night there we 16 at one time! Oh and can I add that I am ever so greatful to whoever invented the air mattress? Ours had a hole in it so we ended up sleeping on the hard ground. It was by far the longest night of my life!! Needless to say my dear husband went back into town and bought another one. The rest of the trip was bliss!
