A few of my favorite things

While it was raining the other I got to thinking about some of my favorite smells and sounds. Since I always have a hard time thinking of what to blog about I thought it might be fun to list some of my favorite smells.

Smells:
1. I love, love, love the smell of rain
2. Newborn babies
3. homemade bread Is there anything better than to walk into the house on a cloudy day ith a slight chill in the air and smell bread baking?
4. fresh paint I know, I know I'm weird. But to me fresh paint means progress and progress means something on my list of things to do can be crossed off!
5. waking up to the aroma of bacon and eggs cooking. For one that means I'm not doing the cooking!
6. Fresh cut wood so many memories of getting wood for the winter or projects being done
7. Fresh brewed coffee. I don't drink coffee, of course nor do I even have any in the house but sometimes I walk down the coffee aisle at the store just to catch a whif of the coffee beans. Told ya I'm weird.
8. Newly mown grass. no explanation I just love it.
9. Christmas - the pine tree, the wrapping, the baking, all things christmas just smell good
10 Spring - the flowers are beginning bud and it just has an aromatic smell of new and fresh.
