Is it that obvious!

I seem to be procrastinating. I have two big bowls filled with delicious carrots that were grown in our own garden waiting for me to bottle them. Of course, they have been that way since Saturday when my loving husband fulfilled his duty and dug them up for me. Normally, I love bottling season but all I want to do this year is lay down with a heating bag on my back, a pillow under both my bulging belly and knees. I didn't realize how much my girls were paying attention until I overheard this conversation a few days ago:
Dad, while helping Kaylie pick out pajamas for bed: This is the last time I am going to help you girls with your pajamas.

Charity: But why?

Dad: Because I am a boy and you are girls and boys don't help big girls get dressed.

Charity with concern: But who is going to help us?
Dad: Mom can do it.
Charity with real concern now: But dad, mom is pregnant. She can't bend!

Ha ha ha. Love those kids. Hopefully you get to the end of that pregnancy and you'll feel better.

Smart kids! Hope they remember this when their time comes to 'not be able to bend!'
