Snap, Crackle, Pop

A few weeks ago I noticed a strange popping noise coming from my belly. It didn't hurt at all so I paid it no attention. However, it continues to happen and more so. Now it is at least three times a day. At first I thought maybe I had moved just right to snap the elastic on my pants or something. I've realized that it's not me but the baby! My baby is making really loud popping noises and I can hear them! The baby is moving really well so I am not too concerned about it. The doctor, however, has never heard of this so had no answers for me. I googled it to see if any one else has experienced this before. It turns out I am not going crazy. Though no one really knows what the popping noise is some doctors speculate that it is the sound of suction being broken. For example: sucking on the fist, or thumb. Hmmm. I'll just have to wait and see if that really is the case..... and I am not really carrying an alien child. Anyone else ever heard of this?
